To us, an enclosed airbox is more than an air filter with an enclosure, it's an opportunity to move air through the filter as effectively as possible while causing minimal restriction and heat soak. The ST-X flips the traditional airbox design on its head (literally!). We always knew the ultimate ST-X deserved the best material available, but we didn't want to follow the tradition of carbon fibre moulds, it's been done to death, and we can go one step better! The carbon fiber-infused nylon is far more resistant to heat than our ABS Airboxes, deflecting temperatures up to 194 °C, and offering increased tensile and impact strength.
