It could be fitted to an 8v engine but you would need to source a different silicon elbow, and the mount would need modifying.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTo cater for different setups, this kit is configurable in a few ways.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe air box mount uses a threaded dowl which the mounting pin attaches to. This can be raised or lowered to adjust the height of the airbox. This may be needed to clear an engine brace, or achieve a desired inlet angle.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe inlet side of the airbox is fixed to the outlet side (the long side) with 4x screws. These screws can be removed, and the inlet side can be clocked 90 degrees in any direction. This may be required to achieve your desired angle for your ducting, depending on the car.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe kit can be speced with a choice of air ducts. Style A is a large air duct that fits in place using pre-existing holes, to the right-hand side of the radiator. Style B is a pair of 76mm fog light delete ducts to fit the 106 GTI bumper. Style C is a 76mm universal bell mouth, which could be fitted anywhere of your choosing. Please consider which option you choose before ordering the kit.
