With a full recalibration of boost pressure, ignition timing, fuelling and wastegate control, we extract 390–400bhp and up to 530Nm from the standard engine. That's approximately 80bhp over Audi's quoted figure on a completely standard car with the OPF in place.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\"\u003eThe factory calibration is very conservative — Audi quotes 333PS but these cars consistently dyno at 340–345bhp. There's an enormous amount of performance locked away in the Simos 19 ECU, and a Stage 1 remap is the most effective way to unlock it.
