As part of our expanding Vauxhall product range, AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch our induction kit upgrade for the Astra J diesel models.
Developed in-house at AIRTEC HQ in the UK, we’ve created a solution to improving the original air intake system to allow more flow whilst maintaining low intake temperatures, therefore improving response, sound and aesthetics within the engine bay.
As a result, we chose to utilise the original air box base with an enlarged, two-piece laser cut lid. This increases the capacity of the air box to allow the fitment of an 80mm cone air filter whilst retaining the original front air feed that ensures a constant flow of fresh air is forced into the air box.
The result is increased power, improved throttle response, heightened induction noise and a more pleasing look to the engine bay.
The kit is a direct replacement that requires no additional drilling or cutting to fit and comes complete with all the correct fixtures and fittings, as well as detailed installation instructions.
