WP Stage 1 — 230–240bhp / 360–370ft/lb
The factory calibration on the ST Diesel is deliberately conservative. Ford softened the power delivery compared to what the 2.0 TDCi hardware is actually capable of — the turbo response is dulled, there are flat spots through the throttle map, and the mid-range torque that should make this car feel properly fast is held back.
Our Stage 1 software fixes all of that.
With careful recalibration of boost pressure, injection timing, rail pressure and fuelling maps, we take the standard 182bhp up to 230–240bhp and 360–370ft/lb of torque.
That's a genuine 50–60bhp increase and over 70ft/lb of additional torque — completely transforming the way the car drives.
The difference is night and day. Throttle response sharpens up immediately, the variable-geometry turbo spools harder and earlier, and the lazy factory power delivery is replaced with a smooth, progressive surge of torque from low down.
The in-gear acceleration becomes genuinely rapid — the sort of effortless overtaking pace that embarrasses a lot of petrol hot hatches.
No hardware modifications are required. The DPF stays in place and the car remains fully road legal. If you want to squeeze a bit more out of it, adding an upgraded intercooler to our Stage 1 software will give you an extra ~10bhp and 10–15ft/lb on top.
What's included: Custom dyno calibration on our in-house rolling road with before & after printout
Hardware required: None
Recommended: Upgraded intercooler (optional — adds ~10bhp / 10–15ft/lb)

WPFlasher — Remote Tuning Option Can't make it to the workshop? Our WPFlasher device lets you receive your custom calibration remotely.
You read your stock ECU via the OBD port and send us the file, we build your custom tune and send it back, and you flash it yourself at home.
If you're able to take data logs, send them over and we'll refine the calibration further. Select your preferred installation method at checkout.
