WP Stage 2 — 370–385bhp / 385–400ft/lb
Stage 2 pushes the factory turbocharger to its safe limit. With the GPF and catalytic converter removed via a performance downpipe, and supported by an upgraded intercooler and intake, we extract 370–385bhp and 385–400ft/lb — the maximum the stock turbo can reliably deliver.
Removing the GPF and cat frees the turbo to spool faster, sustain higher boost levels, and breathe freely at the top of the rev range. Combined with the intercooler and intake upgrades from Stage 1+, the car gains noticeably sharper response, a broader powerband, and a much more engaging exhaust note — the MK4 ST is quiet from the factory, and a decat downpipe transforms the soundtrack.
What's included: Custom dyno calibration with before & after printout
Required hardware: Performance downpipe (decat or sports cat) · Upgraded intercooler · Performance intake
Strongly recommended: Clutch upgrade · Uprated spark plugs
Advised for track/hard use: Boost pipe kit · Breather kit · Oil cooler
Recommended: 99 RON fuel — Shell V-Power or Tesco Momentum

WPFlasher — Remote Tuning Option
Can't make it to the workshop? Our WPFlasher device lets you receive your custom calibration remotely. You read your stock ECU via the OBD port and send us the file, we build your custom tune and send it back, and you flash it yourself at home. If you're able to take data logs, send them over and we'll refine the calibration further. Select your preferred installation method at checkout.
⚠️ Important: Removing the GPF from a road-registered vehicle is an offence under current UK regulations. A car with the GPF removed will fail an MOT emissions test. Stage 2 is intended for off-road / motorsport use only.
