60hp from software alone on a car you use every day.

This 2019 Audi Q5 45 TFSI was in with us for a stage 1 custom tune. No hardware mods at all, just software.

The results

Stock: 240hp / 265ft-lb

Tuned: 300hp / 320ft-lb

60hp and 55ft-lb gained from a remap alone. The 2.0 TFSI in these has good headroom in it from the factory and responds well to just software without needing any supporting hardware.

Where you feel it

A Q5 isn't the same as remapping a hot hatch. You're not looking for it to pin you back in the seat. But the extra power and torque make a real difference in day to day driving, especially the situations where a bigger car like this can feel a bit flat as standard.

Pulling onto a motorway, overtaking on a dual carriageway, driving with a full car or towing. Those are the moments where the extra 60hp and 55ft-lb show up and make the car feel like it's got a lot more to give.

It's a subtle change in some ways, but once you've driven it tuned you notice it every time you get in.
